The African Centre for Social and Population Research (ACSPR) is pleased to celebrate the successful completion of the ACSPR Research & Innovation Fellowship Programme – 2026 Cohort.
The programme concluded with a Virtual Graduation and Certification Ceremony held on Saturday, 26 September 2026, under the theme:
“Building the Next Generation of African Researchers: From Evidence Generation to Policy and Impact.”
Over the course of the fellowship, participants engaged in practical research training, mentorship, collaborative research, manuscript development, data and analytical skills development, knowledge translation, and professional learning. These activities were designed to strengthen their capacity to generate credible evidence and contribute meaningfully to policy, research, and development across Africa.
ACSPR warmly congratulates all graduating fellows on reaching this important milestone. Their commitment, resilience, collaboration, and active participation contributed greatly to the success of the programme.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the facilitators, mentors, reviewers, partners, and members of the ACSPR team whose expertise, guidance, and support enriched the fellowship experience.
A New Chapter Begins
Graduation marks not the end of the journey, but the beginning of a new chapter. The graduating fellows now transition into the ACSPR Research & Innovation Fellowship Alumni Network, creating opportunities for continued engagement in research, publications, capacity building, knowledge exchange, mentorship, and other initiatives that advance evidence-informed development across Africa.
